Art Camps 2025
Summer Art Camp is one week full of inspiration and creative expressions lead by our experienced art instructors. Students make meaningful art while they make new friends and have lots of fun. We look forward to seeing you at Art Camp 2025!
The Academy of the Arts will offer four art camps this summer:
Art Studio for Teens
Registration opens January 15

Bulldog Art Camp (3 Sessions)

Music Camps 2025
Explorations in Music
Explorations in Music is our beginner music camp tailored for ages five through nine. Join us on an exciting musical journey as children explore instruments and learn about rhythm, composers, basic theory, and piano skills in a creative and interactive group setting. Concepts will be reinforced through collaborative games and activities that make learning music fun and exciting! Students bring their own bag lunch. Friday morning presentation for students and families.
Ages: 5-9 (not instrument-specific)
June 9-13, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Adventures in Music
Adventures in Music is a fun and educational day camp open to students interested in continuing their studies in piano. Activities include classes in music literature, theory, and ensemble, four private 30-minute lessons, practice time, and group activities during our opening and closing sessions each day. Students are directed by faculty members and university student assistants for class changes, practice time, breaks, and lunch.
Friday is filled with exciting activities and performances! Campers work together in teams during a scavenger hunt which is coordinated to the camp theme each year. Campers also test their knowledge with theory and music literature games. Friday afternoon includes a solo recital to which family and friends are invited. Camp concludes with the Adventures in Music Gala Recital during which students perform the ensemble piece learned through the week.
Piano: Grades 1-12
July 7-11, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Location: Academy of the Arts and ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Campus
Grade selected is the grade completed Spring 2025. Students must have taken three months of lessons minimum.

- Tuition includes T-shirt, ensemble music and lunch in the cafeteria.
Students must have sheet music for solo recital pieces (book or legal download). Students may not perform pieces if they do not have the sheet music for it on the first day of camp. Pieces must be memorized for solo recital performance.
Strings Camp
Strings Camp is a week-long camp for violin, viola, and cello students to learn and perform music with other musicians. Campers will have daily private lessons, chamber ensemble, and full group rehearsals each day, as well as classes in theory and music literature, culminating in a final concert on the last day of camp. Students must have completed a minimum of four lessons and have their own instrument.
Violin, Viola, Cello: Grades 1-8
July 21-25, 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Grade is according to grade completed in spring 2025.
