1. Lead energetic, fun and safe classes in accordance with the style of class being presented.
2. Be welcoming and encouraging to all who are participating in the class.
3. Be punctual for class set up and make good use of class time.
4. Help keep accurate class attendance by ensuring all participants are registered for the class.
5. Help promote any events that are being shared by the Campus Recreation Department.
6. Attend any required staff meetings and training courses.
7. Any other duties that relate to the job and are assigned by the Assistant Director of Fitness and Training.

Federal Work/Study earnings will be paid biweekly in the form of a check or direct deposit payable to the student. This award does not credit to the account of the student as payment toward University charges.

1. Be an enrolled ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøStudent.
2. Hold a current certification to teach in your area of expertise. (cycling, Zumba, etc.)
3. Hold a current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification.
   *Instructors will have the opportunity to get certified through the Campus Recreation Department as needed.
4. A national certification as a Group Exercise Instructor is preferred but not required.
5. Successful completion of the background screening.
