Job Description
Advancement Services serves ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø in the gathering, organizing, and disseminating of information as it relates to donors, gifts, and pledges. The team is seeking student assistance in its Banner database to accurately document information. A great portion of the work will involve data entry such as biographical information and routine data maintenance. The role will also assist with correspondence such as thank you notes, tax receipts, and other materials for mailing. Special projects will be assigned as well as occasional campus errands.

The team is seeking an undergraduate or graduate student who may be interested in a job for 2+ years. A student who enjoys problem solving, puzzles, and/or manipulating sets of data may be interested in applying. While the role is primarily in data entry, the right candidate can make the job come to life in solving data matches, applying efficiencies, and learning the intricacies of clean data.  

 

Federal Work/Study earnings will be paid biweekly in the form of a check or direct deposit payable to the student. This award does not credit to the account of the student as payment toward University charges.

Required Qualifications
  1. Attention to detail, particularly as it relates to data entry.
  2. Diligence to produce accurate work.
  3. Ability to work independently at a desk using a laptop.
  4. Ability to adhere to confidentiality requirements.
  5. Proficiency with computer skills.
  6. Shows organizational and project management skills.
  7. Dependable and trustworthy.
  8. Willing to learn and follow instructions.
  9. Aptitude to master various technologies.
  10. Good academic standing upon application and maintained during employment
