Job Description
The Assistant Executive Director for ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøGives Back will help lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the university’s annual serve day, along side the Executive Director. This student leadership role involves working closely with the Executive Director, SGB leadership team, community partners, and student volunteers to ensure a successful and impactful day of service. The Assistant Executive Director will assist with the overseeing of the logistics, marketing, volunteer management, and evaluation of the event.

Working with the Office of Community Engagement to:
• Help Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøGives Back
• Help lead regular planning meetings with the leadership team.
• Help coordinate with university departments, community partners, and local organizations to identify service opportunities.
• Help ensure effective communication and coordination among volunteers
• Help maintain a volunteer database
• Help oversee all logistical aspects of the event, including transportation, supplies, and site coordinators
• Help Ensure that all service sites are prepared and equipped for volunteers
• Help manage day-to-day event operations to ensure smooth execution

Federal Work/Study earnings will be paid biweekly in the form of a check or direct deposit payable to the student. This award does not credit to the account of the student as payment toward University charges.

Required Qualifications
• Current Undergraduate or Graduate student at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
• Passion for community service and volunteerism
• Have been or currently on the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøGives Back Leadership Team
