Cam Pearce, CPA, is a doctoral candidate at the University of Florida from Birmingham, Alabama. She serves as a full-time instructor at the Brock School of Business at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, where she teaches a variety of courses including tax research, federal income taxation, Excel spreadsheets, and personal finance. Pearce has earned both ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøUndergraduate and Graduate Teaching Awards and was named a Rising Star in Accounting by the Birmingham Business Journal.

Pearce earned her Master of Taxation from the University of Cincinnati—where she was named Outstanding Graduate Student—and both her Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University.

Before entering academia full-time, Pearce built a diverse professional background in audit, accounting, and tax. She began her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, later serving as Director of Accounting at Bruno Event Team and as a Senior Internal Auditor at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama.

Pearce is deeply committed to service and community engagement. She serves on the Board of the Alabama Society of CPAs, the board of Grace’s Kitchen, and the finance committee at Redeemer Community Church. She also launched and secured funding for Samford’s annual M.Acc. international study trip to London, U.K.

She and her husband, Andrew, are proud parents to their two daughters, Georgia and Mills.
